My new room in our new house will be blue. I want to paint it red and decoarate it all artistic and girly, because I think that suits my personality better...but meanwhile, I'm giving the blue a go. It's such a calm, serene, and boy-ish colour, I'm not sure I'll like it though haha. I'm trying not to get obsessive, but my room is my happy place!
So far I've bought this bedspread, it was a clearance item so I don't feel so bad for spending money on something temporary...Today I also bought a cork board, potpourri, picture frames, coat hangers (just because needed them) and a blue tissue box (for many reasons lol!)
I wanted to get a rug and a mirror, but I think I've decided against that, for reasons of practicality. I'll get a rug after I paint the walls and decide whether I want new furniture, meanwhile I'll get an old sheet for the birds to poop on so they don't ruin the very white carpet! And it's probably easier to not have a mirror, for multiple reasons, one, again, being the birds.
I also got my hair trimmed today, and I need to get lip gloss, just by the way! :)
