I thought since I've seen a few movies lately, and I don't often watch a lot of movies, I'd make a blog about them :) My all time favourites are probably The Notebook, Beauty and the Beast, Titanic, and Master of Disguise. I like romantic stuff, some comedies, and kids movies...the kind that don't leave you feeling confused and depressed, thanks! I don't like violent stuff at all, those "boy movies" as I call them haha. So this past week or so, I've seen;
Alvin and the Chipmonks- Sooo cute! And I always loved that Chipmonks Christmas song- I can never resist bouncing up and down everytime I hear it, no matter how old I am!
Blonde Ambition- I have to see every movie Jess ever does, you know. And I think this was her best one so far! I liked her character, Katie- she had a lot of her real personality in her. And I gotta say Daisy always makes me smile, cute little doggie!
The Bridges of Madison County- Usually after I read a book and then see the movie, it drives me nuts how different the two are. The book and movie versions of this were pretty similar though, and both were good. I actually like some of the changes made to adapt the novel into a movie. I think also because a lot of it was based around photography, it was nice to actually see the scenery in the movie, rather than just imagining it as we somewhat had to with the book. The end even made me cry!
Bella- I read about this movie having a pro-life message, which is an issue I feel strongly about, so I'd been wanting to see this one for ages, and I finally got around to it. It was good! Not in the same way most movies are though. It required a lot of thinking, and I feel like I'd need to watch it and analyse it again before I'd fully understand everything. The flashbacks and forwards confused me a bit. The Spanish parts got a little irritating after a while, but it probably shouldn't have bothered me. I think it really pointed out how sacred life is, how important love is, and how rarely life turns out as we expect. I also read some reviews that said the lead character was supposed to represent Jesus in some way.
Anyway, I wanna watch more movies now! Tell me some that are good!
