So I FINALLY watched this movie yesterday. I wanted to watch it a few years ago when it came out, because Celine sang the theme song (Ma Nouvelle France), and she said it was so sad and good- but it's so hard to find! Maybe because it was made in Quebec? I don't know. I can only imagine the amount of work that went into it though, since they made both a French and an English version! Anyway, it was on Foxtel yesterday and Marne convinced me to take the time to watch it- and I'm really glad I did! It's probably one of my favourites now. Very emotional and upsetting, but beautiful. I can't really say much about the story without spoiling it, but everyone should watch it!
